How long does it take?
Ten days. The clock starts once your deposit is paid and we have your content (your words or notes, logo and photos). You see a working preview on day 7, and it goes live on day 10.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The calculator gives you a rough idea; we confirm your exact price the same day you get in touch, and it won’t go up. If you later ask for something new, we’ll price it before we start.
How do I pay?
Half to start and half when you’re happy with the finished site, before it goes live. You pay by card through a secure payment link; we never see or store your card details. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP), with no VAT to add.
What happens after the first year?
Hosting and looking after your site is £90 a quarter or £300 a year (two months free), taken automatically. It includes two changes a month, each up to 30 minutes. You can cancel any time, and your site stays live until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Can I update it myself?
Yes, if you add “Edit it yourself” (£150, included free with an online shop). It lets you change your words, photos, prices and news whenever you like. Or just email us and we’ll make the change for you.
Do you write the words?
We can. If you’d rather not write them, we’ll do it for £30 a page, never more than £300 in total. Or send us your own and we’ll tidy them up.
Can you move my existing website?
Yes, and it’s included. We move people off Wix, WordPress, Squarespace and others, point your old page addresses to the new ones so Google links keep working, and keep your email working.
What about my domain name and email?
If you already have a domain, we connect it. If not, we register one in your name, so you own it, with the first year included. We also set up business email on your domain with Google or Microsoft; you pay them directly for the mailbox, and we don’t add anything on top.
Will it show up on Google?
Every site is built with an SEO-ready structure: fast, mobile-friendly and properly labelled so search engines can read it. We don’t promise rankings, because nobody honestly can.
Is it secure?
Yes. Every site has a secure connection (the padlock in your browser), there’s no WordPress or plugins for attackers to target, and if you have an editor it’s locked behind a code sent to your email. We keep an eye on every site we look after.
What if I don’t like it?
You get two rounds of changes before launch, and you only pay the balance once you approve the finished site. If you change your mind before we start work, we’ll refund your deposit in full. See our terms for the details.
